Mike Murray is the Candidate of Record for Pitt Meadows - Maple Ridge.

Mike Murray grew up in Richmond, BC and graduated from McNair Secondary School in 1984. He went on to complete his diploma in theology from Summit Pacific after attending the University of Saskatchewan and Central College in Saskatoon. From 1996 to 2004, Mike and his family lived in the United States and the United Kingdom where he worked with inner cities and families. In 2004, Mike and his family moved to Pitt Meadows where he continued his work in the community as a local minister.

In 2010, Mike spent a short time as an MLA’s Constituency Assistant. In 2011, Mike moved to Ottawa and served as the Parliamentary Secretary’s Assistant to the Minister of Fisheries of Oceans. A year later, Mike was hired as Executive Assistant to Randy Kamp, MP who served as the Member of Parliament of Pitt Meadows – Maple Ridge – Mission from 2004 to 2015. In that role, Mike got a first-hand view of the everyday problems facing people in Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge. Following the 2015 election, Mike was hired as Executive Assistant to the Hon. Ed Fast, MP for Abbotsford.

In 2015, Mike and his team ran a fantastic campaign engaging with thousands of people. Mike is consistently engaged with the Pitt Meadows - Maple Ridge community and has actively organized and participated in the Conservative Leadership Campaign as well as community events.

Mike is happily married to his wife Yvonne and has three daughters, Erica, Katelyn, and Micaela, and one grandson, Roman.
